The Rebecca Agroh Memorial Foundation (RAM Foundation) was established to honor the legacy of Madam Rebecca Agroh by Dr. Kwaku, a selfless woman who dedicated her life to empowering women through education, skills training, and livelihood support.
Driven by her passion for social impact, the Foundation continues her vision of creating opportunities for women and communities across Ghana and Africa. Through innovative projects in education, vocational training, disability support, and community development, RAM Foundation seeks to uplift lives, reduce inequalities, and promote sustainable socio-economic growth.
RAM Foundation is committed to creating lasting impact through projects that empower women, support education, and strengthen communities.
RAM Foundation has renovated schools, provided scholarships, and supported communities across Ghana, including Sambu, Tamale, and Ziavi. Notably, we donated a Motorking tricycle to the Mion Regent and built a children’s playground in the Volta Region.
RAM Foundation renovated and equipped the Girls’ dormitory at Tamale Vocational and Technical Institute, provided scholarships, and in 2017 requested its renaming in honor of Madam Rebecca Agroh. The project seeks to preserve her legacy while creating a safer, more conducive environment for learning.
The $200,000 ICT Centre at the Women’s Vocational Training Institute in Sokode-Lokoe was built in honor of Ms. Rebecca Agroh, with support from international donors and Ghanaian partners. Fully equipped with modern facilities, the Centre provides vital ICT skills to empower women and enhance teaching and learning.
RAMF conducted this survey to better understand the livelihoods of women street hawkers in Ghana. The goal was to identify their challenges, explore sustainable income opportunities, and gather insights that will inform programs aimed at improving their economic well-being and overall quality of life.
The Girls Impact Project equips Senior High School girls with entrepreneurial, leadership, and community development skills while boosting their confidence and self-reliance. It empowers them to create positive change in their schools, communities, and future careers.
RAM Foundation is partnering with the Yendi Municipal Assembly to secure threatened PWD land in Yendi and develop it into a skills training and support center for the Northern Region.
