In January 2017, our Foundation approached the Tamale Vocational and Technical Institute requesting a renaming of the Girls’ dormitory after Madam Rebecca Agroh in whose memory our Foundation was founded. The Foundation has over the years supported the school in various ways. In 2016, the Foundation provided the Girls’ dormitory with electrical equipment including fans, bulbs, plugs, etc in addition to providing a gate to ensure the safety of the students. The Foundation has also provided scholarships to some students of the school.
Objectives of this project
- To preserve the name of Rebecca Agroh
- To uplift the structural face of the dormitory
- To make teaching/learning conducive for the students
- To help inculcate the virtues of life and work which Rebecca Agroh practiced in her lifetime
